Panayotis Terzakis, bass, a versatile vocalist and performer , has participated in a variety performances including Opera & Theater, Art Songs (Lieder) Recitals, as well as Jazz and Spirituals, Greek Byzantine Hymns in small and large ensembles and with orchestras. Panayotis is dreaming of putting his own mark not as a crossover singer, but as an interpreter who respects the roots of each song by keeping the style characteristics and who transubstantiates his life experience into music. He has performed in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Japanese. And of course in his native Greek bringing projects to the audiences outside of Greece in order for them to get to know the richness and diversity of the Greek musical world. Panayotis has been characterized as a musical ambassador between the USA and Greece and therefore he has been invited by a number of organizations, theaters and communities as part of a musical exchange between the two cultures, at the same time not ignoring his multicultural,yet hellenic, musical figure.
