In November 2004, Panayotis Terzakis, he took the chance and presented his first solo performance in Boston entitled "My Hellenic Soul". This was a great success and a first in the Boston area, with music by Greek composers whose works are not well known outside of Greece such as Benakis, Kalomiris, Michailidis, Xarchakos, Hadjidakis among others, a concert that led the audience into a fascinating journey into the Greek musical world. The immediate success of such a recital led to more performances that finally led to the one entitled "Immortality- Greek Songs with the poetry of Nikos Gatsos" which was sponsored by the Greek Institute and was hosted by the American Repertory Theater  in Cambridge, Massachusetts performed and directed by Panayotis Terzakis himself. This sold out concert was highly appreciated by the audience that delved into the Greek Art Song Repertoire more and discovered poetry and tunes that were unknown to them but immediately captured their hearts.
In 2005 Panayotis founded a musical Ensemble in order to explore the Greek "Early" Music. "Ensemble Trident" gained people's hearts at no time and was received very warmly by the audiences of The New England region. They  performed for the Society for Historically Informed Performance (SoHip) presenting a series of Byzantine Hymns and Greek traditional songs specially arranged for bass and soprano, entitled "Graecia Magna"; they also presented programs combining Greek and English Early Music and till 2008 that the project came to its end they appeared in more than 25 recitals in USA and Greece.
In 2006 he also had the honor to be invited to sing for the Metropolis of Boston Ministry Awards Gala by Metropolitan Methodios. There he presented a 20 minute "a capella" program of Greek traditional music and ballads of Manos Hadjidakis that led the more than 800-people audience into an enthusiastic applause.
In 2008 Greek Orthodox Churches in The New England area opened ,for the first time in their history, their doors to host this special project that toured successfully for three years honoring Panayotis Terzakis' efforts in the best way. In Greece he appeared at Eilissos-Pocket Theater in Athens, presenting Mikis Theodorakis' "Epitaph" for classical guitar and voice in a recital dedicated to the Holy Passion.
Till nowdays Panayotis  travels around presenting Greek projects bringing to the audiences the color and the light of the music and poetry of his homeland.

Terzakis' expressive singing seemed to beckon the listeners' souls to sing as well, as he took the audience through the range of emotions experienced during the challenges of realizing one's destiny."

Those who attended the "Graecia Magna" concert at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitors Center on Friday expected a pleasant evening of Greek music, sponsored by the Hellenic Culture Society. But they were jolted into an enthusiastic standing ovation by powerful performances from a trio of musicians who presented, in the words of bass baritone Panayotis Terzakis, "the extraordinary travels of Hellenic music through the centuries."
